Do I need a microphone to comment?
Yes, and no. There is no substitute for the compassion, emotion, and expressiveness of the human voice. At the same time, many first-time users might not yet have a microphone, so we do allow you to easily leave text comments in place of speaking or use your telephone to leave voice comments. To leave a voice comment, while viewing a VoiceThread, click Comment, and then select either the Record button or the button with a telephone. Likewise, to leave a text comment, select the Comment button, and then the Type button. You can even leave comments from a webcam or by uploading an existing audio file (for VoiceThread Pro users).
